Weekly Fishing Report ~ December 11th – 17th
I’ll be happy to help you with that! Here’s a revised version of the text:
“I had an excellent half-day fishing trip this week. The water temperature was between 61°-64°, and flyline bass was the name of the game on a few sunny days. We had some great action, releasing over 200 bass on Saturday’s half-day trips. The sheephead fishing was also very good, with plenty of keepers caught and released. It’s amazing to have such good fishing in mid-December!
Additionally, the 3/4 day cod fishing has been solid, with mixed bags of rockfish caught. The sculpin have started to move in over the hard bottom spots out deep, which is a good sign for our January efforts when cod closes. The whitefish have been biting on the squid strips as well, which is a total bonus along with the rockfish.
There may be some weather this week that could dampen things a bit, but the fishing has been very consistent this week.
